Open Paralegal Position - Charlotte, NC - Office

We are looking for a dedicated paralegal at Oakhurst Legal Group. The position will pay $15-20 dollars per hour depending on experience. The work environment will include  remote work and office time in an isolated room within a public restricted office building for safety concerns. The hours will start at 4 hours per week day and then increase as the candidate learns more about our business. 

Oakhurst Legal Group is a Charlotte based law firm that specializes in high stakes criminal defense law and immigration for some of the world’s best athletes & entertainers. Our clients include some of the premier sports management companies in the world and international social media influencers to fledgling businesses in the Charlotte area. 

Duties & Responsibilities: Ideally, our candidate would administer paralegal functions to our sports immigration and our corporate business practice. The ideal candidate should have a team mentality with an emphasis on independent working. The candidate must also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask to meet deadlines in a timely manner. The paralegal position will also have some supervisory responsibilities for our overseas team.

   IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates are preferred (not required) to have foreign language skills, and must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates must have a high level of efficiency and accuracy in completing their daily objectives and should be computer literate with modern software applications. Professionalism and a strong work ethic are paramount. Ability to work independently is very important because a large portion of the work will be remote. Office work will be in a safe and isolated dedicated room. The candidate will not be expected to meet with clients in person.
