NFL Player and Agents
Visas for both unsigned and current players
Unsigned players can obtain P-1 visas for multiple years to be immediately available for short-notice opportunities, the same as unsigned players. They would require a letter of no objection from the NFLPA or a confirmation that the NFLPA does not issue letters to unsigned players. We would only need an email from the team(s) expressing interest in the player.
Visas for currently signed players
Players with a P-1 visa with a team can obtain an additional visa on top of their P-1. These players would benefit from an additional letter from the players association, which confirms their non-objection to the issuance of the second visa. The player may also need a letter from the team indicating they are okay with the current visa. The second visa would allow the player to remain in the country even if the underlying P-1 is interrupted and they can tie in staff/extended family members under the P-1S/O-2 essential support staff visas.
